Soylent Chocolate Covered French Toast

Start your day off deliciously with french toast coated in nutritious chocolate-y goodness.

Ingredients

French Toast:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Soylent Drink Creamy Chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 slices of bread (brioche, chocolate chip brioche)

Optional toppings:

  • Powdered sugar
  • Fruit
  • Chocolate chips

Chocolate Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup Soylent Drink Creamy Chocolate
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk

Instructions

  • Mix together the french toast ingredients, except for the butter and bread.
  • Heat a skillet on medium heat and add your butter.
  • Dip each side of bread in the mixture for 1 minute per side, then add into the pan.
  • Cook until pan-side down is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  • In a mug, add all chocolate sauce ingredients and stir. Microwave for 1 minute or until hot. Once heated, mix until it becomes a “ganache” consistency. Add more chocolate chips if needed.
  • Pour over toast and enjoy!
